What is the difference between a cable lock and a kiosk enclosure?

A cable lock uses the laptop or tablet Kensington slot and a steel cable to tether the device to a fixed point. A kiosk enclosure fully encases the tablet in aluminium, blocking the buttons and ports for tamper-proof public use. Cable locks suit staff-operated environments; enclosures are required for self-service kiosks, retail demos and unattended tablets.

What warranty do Maclocks products carry?

All Maclocks and Compulocks products include a 12-month manufacturer warranty covering mechanical and structural defects under normal commercial use. Selected aluminium enclosures and floor stands qualify for an extended 24-month warranty on request. Returns are handled directly by ElockStore UK - no shipping to the US required.

Do you ship across the UK?

Yes. We deliver to all UK mainland addresses in 3-5 working days on standard shipping, with next-working-day express on orders placed before 14:00. Highlands, Islands and Northern Ireland take 4-7 working days. Bulk pallets for tenders are quoted separately.

Which tablets and devices are compatible?
